Butterscotch Plum Oat Bars

Ingredients
No stick cooking spray
4 cups old-fashioned oats
1 cup (about 6 oz.) chopped dried plums
1 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
2 teaspoons cinnamon
½ teaspoon salt
1 ½ cups packed brown sugar
¾ cup butter
Directions
In large bowl combine oats, dried plums, walnuts, cinnamon and salt; set aside. In a medium saucepan, combine brown sugar and butter. Heat to melt butter and dissolve sugar; stirring to blend well. Pour butter mixture over oat mixture, stirring to coat all ingredients. Press firmly and evenly into a generously sprayed 15 x 10 inch baking pan.
Bake in a 375 ͦF oven from 22 to 25 minutes or until golden around the edges. Cut into bars with sharp knife while still hot. Cool completely in pan then recut and remove with spatula.
